Farah Zaman, O.D.

Dr. Farah Zaman was born and raised in Dallas, TX. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Texas at Dallas and Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry. She is licensed by the Texas Optometry Board as a Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. 

 

Dr. Zaman’s clinical rotations included experience at the Ambulatory Surgery Center of the University Eye Institute, where she provided excellent pre-operative and post-operative care for patients following cataract surgery. In addition, she obtained advanced skills in dry eye management at the Ocular Surface Institute, where she was recognized and awarded for her expertise. Dr. Zaman also completed rotations at a private practice in Plano, TX, and a community eye clinic in Dallas, TX, where she fortified her skills in medical optometry and primary care. Her interests include dry eye and ocular disease. 

 

When she isn’t providing care to our patients, Dr. Zaman enjoys trying new restaurants with her husband, trivia nights, and spending time with her niece and nephews.
